The Northern conflict schooling middle in Alaska is wherein soldiers inside the US navy learn how to live to tell the tale and combat in intense cold climate. Photographer Ed Gold spent weeks with the team, shadowing the scholars as they went on physical activities.
The path takes a "teach the teacher" method, with squaddies who entire the education passing on their new abilities to comrades after they go back to their devices.
