More than two million American servicemen and girls handed via Britain for the duration of world warfare two. Many have been primarily based right here with america army Air Forces (USAAF), most of them residing in jap England.

To mark the reopening of the yankee Air Museum at Imperial warfare Museum (IWM) Duxford, photos of a number of those men and women are to be proven along some of the plane that flew on the time. The photographs are drawn from the Roger Freeman collection, which IWM received for the state in 2012.
